Required Vaccinations

All must be Vaccinated – for the Health and Well-Being of All
For both Doggie Daycare and overnight boarding, Advantage Pet Center requires that all vaccinations be current. Some of the vaccinations must be given annually, some every six months and some every three years, we honor the expiration dates as determined by your veterinarian. Additionally, we honor positive titer tests as an alternative to vaccinations (these are blood tests preformed by the veterinarian to determine levels of immunity).

However, we understand that in the chaos of everyday life, sometimes vaccinations become ‘past due.’ Should this happen to you – no worries – for a small fee, we will happily take your pet to be vaccinated for you.

Our vaccination requirements are as follows:

Dogs:

• Rabies (expires every 1 – 3 years)
• Bordetella (expires every 6 mo. – 1 year)
• DHLPPC (expires every 1 – 3 years)

Cats:

• Rabies (expires every 1 – 3 years)
• FVRCP (expires every 1 – 3 years)
• Feline Leukemia (expires every 1 – 3 years)*

*The Feline Leukemia and AIDS vaccinations are not required for indoor-only cats

Additional Requirements Keep Advantage Pet Center Dogs Healthy and Safe

Fleas and Ticks
All guests of Advantage Pet Center must be flea and tick free. If fleas or ticks are found upon check-in, then at the owner’s expense, Fido or Fluffy will receive a flea and/or tick bath, de-ticking (if necessary) and an application of Advantage Flea Control or Frontline Top Spot Flea and Tick Control.

Worms
For the protection of all, all dogs must have had a negative fecal test within the past 12 months. Additionally, it is strongly recommended that all dogs must be on a heartworm preventative.

Advantage Pet Center Respects Dogs with Special Needs
